Each greeting follows the same basic formula, but has different language and uses leading questions to set the tone of the call (and its priorities!) right off the bat.

By presenting a clear, welcoming message containing relevant information about your business, you are showing callers that you value their time. If your recording is vague, confusing, or drags on, customers will lose interest and hang up the phone instead of leaving a voicemail message.
14. Hi, you’ve reached [business name]. We can’t take your call at the moment, but if you leave your name and number, the next available team member will return your call as soon as possible.
-Hello, caller. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to leave your name, number, and a short message after the tone. This message will self destruct. BOOM! (not followed by a beep)
Hello, you have reached the firm of real estate agent X. I am currently in a meeting with a client, but I will get back to you as soon as possible. Here’s a generic business voicemail greeting example: “Thank you for calling [company/person’s name]. We are currently unavailable, but if you leave your name, phone number, and message, we will get back to you as soon as possible.” The above greeting is a professional voicemail script used by many growing and established businesses.
Since we like to give our customers what they want, we’ve been burning the midnight oil looking for a way to make personalized greetings that much easier to personalize.
Upload the professionally recorded WAV file to use with the matching PBX feature. Replace Music On Hold with your own professionally recorded Messages On Hold.
Voicemails need to maintain a professional consistency that’s aligned with the entity it’s representing. That said, the structure can vary depending on the situation. There’s no template set in stone. In fact, trite and generic should be off the table. The goal should be a balance of uniqueness and practicality.
When someone reaches your voicemail, it’s important that you help them confirm that they have reached the right person by providing all of the relevant information that they will need. Who have they reached? Did they contact the right person and the right business? Should they leave a message? When will you get back to them? Is there a better time for them to call?
There is no definitive answer here, but you should include one of the two at the beginning of your message based on what makes the most sense.
Though Grandstream may not be a well-known brand found in stores, you won't be disappointed in the quality and the feature-set of this system. Unlike other "small business systems" (like those from AT&T or VTech) which utilize your existing phone lines and proprietary technology to act as a business phone system right out of the box, this system will require some configuration and setup. It is a fully-functional VoIP phone system with PBX functionality (think "press one for this...two for that...", voicemail, call transfers, music on hold, connecting multiple physical locations together, etc.) If you are familiar with Asterisk and FreePBX, this system will be mostly familiar to you.

Business voicemail greetings are rarely thought of as a prime way to connect with customers. But just because you're not available doesn't mean you can't make a positive impression on your customers when they reach your voicemail box.
All of these questions are pertinent to their call, and it’s important that you answer any that is relevant to your specific situation. Make sure not to drag on too long going through all of the info.
