Another great information you can put in your voicemail messages is to inform your prospects when you can reach out to them say the next morning or mid-afternoon and more so that they can be aware of when they can expect a call from you.
For Calls To, select a number or alternative number from the drop-down so that calls are forwarded when a call is received to this number in your organization that you define. 13
Some research has shown that each time you leave a message, the chances of a callback go up about ten percent! Here’s how it works out: 1st voicemail = 11% callback rate. 2nd voicemail = 22% callback rate. 3rd voicemail = 33% callback rate. According to Zoominfo, the average callback rate after one call is just 4.8%.
That’s why it’s critical that each customer interaction with your business is consistent, positive, and represents the values and personality of your company. Generally, people that call and leave messages are more likely to be ideal customers of your business. Your voicemail message is often not much more than a formality to the person calling.
What happens here is when you apologize and sound genuine in your tone, your prospects would understand and leave their contact details for you to follow with them.
1. Personal Business Voicemail Greeting. Your personal voicemail greeting should be brief and to the point. State your name and your availability, project a welcoming aura, and ask the caller for whatever information you need from them.
If they don’t leave a message, you’ll never know who called. Some people may assume they should just call back later. But if you prefer to get back to them at your leisure, encourage them to leave a message.
