Thank you for calling BusinessCo. We are currently closed for the public holiday in Victoria. Our normal hours are 8.30am to 5.30pm Easter Standard Time. Your call is important to us, so please leave your name, phone number and a short message and we will return your call on our next business day. Thank you.
Auto-attendants with a customized holiday greeting can be a festive way to mark the occasion. If you have a retail business, create a holiday greeting to inform customers of any limited-time sales you are offering. If your office is closed for the holiday, be sure you state this in your message.

To change the existing voice mail greeting, you must be on the Attendant/Admin handset which is usually extension number 20 (However this may be changed to another extension that you use to check messages on.) Click the message key on top of the display. Click voice messaging then scroll down once to where it says “other” After you select that, the display will change and you can select Answering Machine. If the system asks for a password, it should be 1111 followed by the # key. After you enter the password you will be able to scroll down to Greeting and enter your new greeting followed by the save key. The last thing is uniqueness. How many other people can you name who have the same greeting as you? If the answer is more than 1, you're not being unique enough. Think about this as your signature where people think of you when they hear it. My friends leave me messages that tell me to make it a great day because I've added that as my signature to all my voicemail greeting. Feel free to share yours with me by calling 414.640.7445 anytime. Don't be surprised if I actually answer the phone though!
