The bottom line is that a business’s situation is likely to change often and rapidly, each of which need a unique and applicable voicemail greeting to cover the circumstances and timeline. For example, callers shouldn’t reach a business-as-usual voicemail, and therefore expect a return call within the business day, if the subject they’re calling is out on vacation for two weeks. To change your night greeting on a Samsung OfficeServ 100, 500, 7100, 7200 and 7400 phone systems: Press the voicemail button Press * # 0000 Enter the system password Press 1 to edit system prompts Enter 1002 for the Night prompt Press 1 to listen to the current prompt. A dot on the Voicemail icon indicates the number of messages received that have not yet been heard. To listen to your messages, go to the Visual Voicemail, select a message and tap the read/pause button. You can fast forward or rewind the message by sliding the reading head. You can also transfer the sound to speakers and call the number where the message originated.
