This lets you view voice mail messages and listen to them in any order you want. Instead of listening to all of them in order, you can pick the ones you’re interested in. Even more, you can decide to erase or archive them, all from your device screen. Visual Voicemail also includes button shortcuts to call back or text a person that left you a voicemail.

Voicemails are recorded on your network as audio files and are downloaded to your phone. They are then played back in the usual way, just through the phone app rather than through the music app. Any voicemails you have are visible in the Voicemail app and should be able to be played back by pressing the play icon. You might also consider giving them the option to skip your voicemail message completely by pressing another key (again, check with IT). Cell phone voicemail greetings are generally more personal and casual than office phones. Consider a greeting like “Hello, you’ve reached [your name]’s cell phone. I can’t take your call at the moment, but if you leave a brief message, I’ll get back to you as quickly as possible.”
