13Please repeat the captcha below [utter captcha] to confirm you are not a robot before being allowed to leave a message at [your name]’s voicemail. This is a great copy of the internet’s way of cracking down on spam and robots. Callers will be left repeating the captcha unknowingly. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don’t have money, but what I do have are a very particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you leave me a voicemail, then that’ll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you, but if you don’t, I will look for you, I will find you and I will call you. This is a classic line from the movie Taken (without the violence). Your callers will always get startled at the threat initially but will surely leave them in jitters as they drop a message in your voicemail. This is a classic trick and one that is both funny and frustrating. Watching people continue to speak as if you’re there is funny. Make sure they know when to leave a message though. Alright let me try to clear this problem as much as I can. From the parent carrier, we have a limitation or you can say a requirement that all numbers should have the Voicemail set up. So what we do for those customers who don’t want it, we disable it from our side but again the numbers keep syncing from the parent carrier’s network from time to time (roughly once a quarter). When the numbers get synced, voicemail automatically gets enabled. To some people, this is alright but sometimes it becomes inconvenience for the customers to call us again to disable it.
In this post, I’ll share what makes a good voicemail greeting — and the best voicemail greeting scripts you can use.
2. Click on the "Voicemail" icon in the bottom right-hand corner. Tap on "Voicemail" to open up the voicemail menu.
Our previous post on funny voicemail greetings got so much attention, we thought we’d continue the hilarity with even more of your favorite greetings that you can use. Here’s the latest batch: I have nothing to say to you. So leave a message. “Think fast!” *beep* Hi, you’ve reached _____.
You can also set your Galaxy A series smartphone to record all the calls (or selectively record calls to and from select numbers) automatically without the need to hit the record button. If you frequently record calls, this feature is quite useful, and here’s how you can do it:
Check for outages and troubleshoot problems with your home phone or internet service.
2. Press the Star or Pound Key. Depending on your carrier, you will likely push one of these two keys next. It's more common to push the star key. When you hear your voicemail start, that's when you should press either the star (*) or the pound (#) key. For AT&T, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, and T-Mobile, press the star (*) key. Verizon, Bell Mobility and Virgin Mobile users should press the pound (#) key. If you are using a different carrier, you can check its website or call customer service to be sure.
