If you like to keep things simple, opt for a basic greeting. Most voicemail options allow you to record just your name, which lets callers know they’ve reached the right person.

There are plenty of options for business voicemail messages, including professional greetings, casual messages, and even funny ones. Consider your brand voice and target audience to choose the tone. And include directions for those who call.
I’m using GSM LTE. Is there some way to “manage” my Voicemail by dialing 805-637-7249 from another phone such as a land line? If not, how can I manage my voicemail from another phone? We’re all familiar with this type of voicemail greeting. Simply put, a caller reaches you by dialing your number or extension directly. For an optimal personal voicemail greeting, be clear about who you are, the team you’re on, and when the caller can expect a callback. Unlike company and department voicemail greetings, you may not be able to configure a greeting for open and closed business hours. If that’s the case, use a general voicemail greeting that accommodates both scenarios.
Let’s be honest, you (hopefully) set up your voicemail when you first got your phone, and it probably hasn’t changed since then. If you’re about to start job-hunting, now is the perfect time to refresh your professional voicemail greeting.
When you’ve lost someone special, any little detail or reminder of that person can mean the world. Google's Super Bowl commercial sure pushed that point home and showed us how instrumental tech can be in preserving those memories.

Jan 21, 2008 · Where "(your phone number)" is your 11-digit phone number (including 1 and the area code), and "15" is the number of seconds (from 5 to 30 in 5 second increments) that you want your phone to ring before going to voicemail. (The default seems to be 10 seconds.) You can thank me later. 😉 (Hat tip to Bradley!)
