6 hours agoVisual voicemail is a feature that allows you to do the following: Receive and listen to messages in any order. Scroll through messages visually. Save, archive or delete messages by touch. Get transcription of messages (for most) Send voice messages via email or text. If you own an iPhone, you've likely been using visual voicemail already.

Voicemails don’t necessarily have to be monotonous or extremely jazzy or funky. What you should be looking for is a balance between the two. Whenever you call someone and their voicemail greeting is playing, it tells you a lot about who they are, as a person. Which is why, you’ve got to put a little bit of “you” when it comes to voicemail. And the best part about all of this is, since you couldn’t come to the phone, at least the callers are having a good time listening to the message.

Finally, here was a way to see all voicemail messages in a list (like incoming emails) and be able to tap on them to hear them. Unfortunately, even 10 years after the launch of the iPhone, this feature is still not available on all networks, including Three in the UK.
To set up voicemail on your iPhone 12, you must make sure to check carrier supports Visual Voicemail. If it does, follow the steps below:

Visual Voicemail works by periodically checking out your voicemail and fetching voice messages along with caller information. It then populates a list which contains the name and the number of the caller, along with the length and priority level of the voicemail.
If you have a visual voicemail applications installed on your Galaxy S21, you can alternately use that app to record and set a greeting instead.
First I would check the phone to see if it saved the greeting to its files. Some phones do and some don’t. If you are unable to find the voicemail greeting file, google the question for your type of phone. If you’re unable to find it or do it, call youe cell phone carrier to see if they can help. Some carriers still save voicemail greetings on their systems. It’s a great reminder though that if you have a greeting you really want to keep, to make sure you record it and save it to your computer and to a flash drive or cloud drive for good measure. Re: Phone calls go directly to Voice Mail - DND is not on This is an old thread, but I have a solution that worked for me. When you dial *21, all calls are routed directly to voice mail. To stop calls from being sent straight to voice mail, dial #21.
