But what’s really great about Samsung’s way of dealing with voicemails is the new and improved Visual Voicemail service. This lets you view voice mail messages and listen to them in any order you want. Instead of listening to all of them in order, you can pick the ones you’re interested in. Resetting the network settings can give your iPhone a “fresh start” and allow it to connect to Bluetooth devices or WiFi networks that may have been problematic. Open the Settings app. Tap General. 1. Power up your phone and open the Phone app. Press and hold the power button for your phone to turn it on. Then, once you unlock your main screen, tap the Phone app to launch it.
First I would check the phone to see if it saved the greeting to its files. Some phones do and some don’t. If you are unable to find the voicemail greeting file, google the question for your type of phone. If you’re unable to find it or do it, call youe cell phone carrier to see if they can help. Some carriers still save voicemail greetings on their systems. It’s a great reminder though that if you have a greeting you really want to keep, to make sure you record it and save it to your computer and to a flash drive or cloud drive for good measure. With this method, you don’t need a third-party app. Call the person you want to chat with, then tap the “Add Call” button on your phone’s screen. Dial your own phone number—the one you’re calling from. This will take you to your voicemail. Once your voicemail has started recording, tap the “Merge Calls” button on your screen. Now, you’ll record your phone conversation onto a voicemail message. When you’re done with the call, you can tap the share button to export it to your Mac via Airdrop, to the Voice Memos app, or transfer it via email or text message. The file is recorded as an M4A, so depending on what you want to do with it, you may need to convert it to MP3 before uploading it to other apps.
