However, there are a few different “types” of a voicemail that you may be able to have on your device. One is a Visual Voicemail and the other is just a standard voicemail that you had on your landline a few years ago. Visual voicemail lets you physically see and play all of the voicemails, while regular is just done through the following audio prompts to hear your voicemails. Visual Voicemail is only offered throughout certain providers (and some might make you pat extra), so there is no guarantee that you will have it on your device.
If Set Up Now doesn’t appear, then that means your phone has been set to the automated voicemail option. You can change it whenever you like, though. All you have to do is tap Greeting, which should be at the top-left of the screen.Tap Record, and then speak slowly and clearly into the phone so that your message is recorded.When you are finished, hit Stop.

When you receive a new voicemail, the Voicemail icon will appear in the notification bar. You can also access your voicemail to check your messages by selecting and holding the One (1) key from the dial pad, follow these steps: From any Home screen, tap Applications. Scroll to and tap Visual Voicemail. Scroll to and tap the voicemail message you want to hear. Tap the blue Play icon to listen to the message.
