Business voicemail greetings are rarely thought of as a prime way to connect with customers. But just because you're not available doesn't mean you can't make a positive impression on your customers when they reach your voicemail box.
You can record custom messages right from your dashboard using Dial-and-Record, which allows you to record it through your phone. Then, once they’ve been recorded, they’re saved in your account to be placed in any section, such as for the welcome greeting, menu prompt, or voicemail greeting, in addition to other sections. Enter the number of rings between 0 and 9, or press #. If you choose 0, calls will go straight to your voicemail without ringing first. If you choose # calls won't go to voicemail at all. The phone will ring until you answer or the caller hangs up. Follow the voice prompts.

If you've forgotten your retrieval number, call 800-244-1111 to get it. Alternately, the number was included in the welcome letter you received when you signed up for voicemail service.
If the you haven't changed your personal greeting, a default system greeting will be played for callers. For example, "Please leave a message for John Smith. After the tone, please record your message. When you finish recording hang-up or press the pound key for more options."
5. To set up your voicemail, check "Custom." Tap "Custom" to record your own voicemail greeting.

The much safer option is to do this with a third-party voice mail system like Google Voice (but the voicemail recordings are limited to 3 minutes). So it's better to have a paid voicemail service, use the Google Voice recording option for incoming calls outlined above, or spring for the paid recorder services like Recordator.

On the caller side, the phone would ring once and then go to voicemail.  We tested and yes, it would ring sometimes and other times it would not.
