One is a Visual Voicemail and the other is just a standard voicemail that you had on your landline a few years ago. Visual voicemail lets you physically see and play all of the voicemails, while regular is just done through the following audio prompts to hear your voicemails. Visual Voicemail is only offered throughout certain providers (and some might make you pat extra), so there is no guarantee that you will have it on your device.
