The default, generic voicemail greeting that comes with your iPhone is fine but also rather bland and boring. You can personalize the voicemail greeting on iPhone by recording your own custom version of it. This is a tutorial on how to create a custom iPhone Voicemail greeting.
First I would check the phone to see if it saved the greeting to its files. Some phones do and some don’t. If you are unable to find the voicemail greeting file, google the question for your type of phone. If you’re unable to find it or do it, call youe cell phone carrier to see if they can help. Some carriers still save voicemail greetings on their systems. It’s a great reminder though that if you have a greeting you really want to keep, to make sure you record it and save it to your computer and to a flash drive or cloud drive for good measure. Finally, the iPhone allows you to save and share voicemails (yeah, if you have to listen to it, why shouldn’t other people have too as well?). If you want to save or share a voicemail, do the following: Tap the Phone app icon to open it.In the bottom toolbar of the Phone app, tap the Voicemail icon.Tap the voicemail message you want to save, then tap the share button.In the Share popup that appears, you can tap the name of a friend you want to share the audio recording with or you can choose to save it to the Notes or Voice Memos app or save it to other apps.
