Maybe a relative or someone from your local high school or college. Once the voice mails are saved as MP3s using the suggestions in the post, it would be easy to edit them using Camtasia or Movavi or any other editing software. If you don’t have anyone around, a Walgreens or Walmart store might be able to do it for you if they edit video. They might have the capability. While this may seem a bit archaic compared to Visual Voicemails, it is still better than nothing. It may take a bit longer to listen to your voicemails, and you won’t have as much control over them as you would on a Visual Voicemail service, but is better than missing the call entirely.
If Airplane Mode on its own doesn’t work, turn off WiFi or 4G and then try it again. This can also work.
