Cell phone voicemail greetings are generally more personal and casual than office phones. Consider a greeting like “Hello, you’ve reached [your name]’s cell phone. I can’t take your call at the moment, but if you leave a brief message, I’ll get back to you as quickly as possible.”
While this app has the exact same name as the iOS app we listed above, it’s made by a completely different developer. This version includes customizable skins and the ability to record calls or notes as MP3s. Instead of having to tap a button, you can also simply shake your phone to instantly start recording a call. You can also choose to sync your stored calls with Dropbox and select particular contacts whose calls you always want to record (and store).

Now, texting is so common that most of us never leave voicemails, let alone set up our own. But it's worthwhile to have a voicemail on your iPhone. For one, if you miss a call from a potential employer, it'll sound more professional than whatever the default robot-voice message is. It's also good to have in the event that someone important, like your doctor, boss, or lawyer, calls. Luckily, setting up your voicemail on an iPhone is incredibly simple. Here's how to do it. How to set up voicemail on your iPhone 1. Open the Phone app on your iPhone. It's green with an image of a phone, and it's located in the dock at the bottom of your Home Screen by default. 2. Hi Cindi, What a beautiful idea! The easiest way to do this would be to have someone who is good at editing video or audio do this for you on their computer. Maybe a relative or someone from your local high school or college. Once the voice mails are saved as MP3s using the suggestions in the post, it would be easy to edit them using Camtasia or Movavi or any other editing software. If you don’t have anyone around, a Walgreens or Walmart store might be able to do it for you if they edit video. They might have the capability. We had a very old audio file of ours (from reel to reel!) edited and resaved onto a DVD by iMemories.com. They did an amazing job! All the best! Laura
