Forget about messing around with apps. There’s a powerful voicemail handling system built into nearly every big carrier today — and that system almost always includes a system for recording a voice message and sending it directly without ringing the target phone. I will walk you through the process of doing this on Straight Talk (since that happens to be my carrier) but most carriers will have similar systems.
Open the Phone app on your iPhone. Tap Voicemail in the bottom right corner of the screen. Tap Set Up Now. Enter a passcode (the passcode must be four to six digits). Tap Done. Re-enter the passcode. Tap Done. Your voicemail messaging service is now set up and you will not need to use the passcode again unless there is an issue.

3. Enter your Pin Number. You will need to know your pin or passcode in order to check your voicemail. If you don't have this code, you will have to retrieve it from your carrier. You will hear instructions to input your pin. Hit the pound key after you enter your pin. Follow instructions on how to listen to your voicemail. It's usually to push a certain number (like 1). That's all there is to it. You should be able to hear your voicemail messages now.
There are two popular apps to perform this service: Slydial and WhatCall. While Slydial used to be the market leader, it’s since been flooded with poor reviews due to the service only working sometimes. WhatCall continued to work for a time, but as of February 2021, also appears to be having major issues and is only working sporadically.
