There are two steps you have to do before you can use voicemail on your phone. The first is that you have to add a voicemail number. This number varies by country and also your service provider. If you’e use AT&T, you can follow AT&T Galaxy S21 voicemail setting. Open the “Phone” app. Tap the 3 dots on the top right. Tap “Settings“. Tap “Voicemail“. Tap “Voicemail Settings“. Take note of the green number below “Voicemail number“. Go back to the dialer and enter the number from Step 6 (including the *). Press the green phone button. The voicemail number has been set. Return to the Start screen.
When you reset network settings, all of your iPhone’s Wi-Fi and cellular network settings will be erased. This includes your Virtual Private Network (VPN) settings, your Bluetooth devices, and your Wi-Fi networks — so make sure you write down your passwords first! We do this step because it can be very difficult to track down the exact source of a software problem, so we reset all network settings.

If you are recording a voicemail message for business, be sure you include your name and your company's name, so people know who they are calling and were they are reaching them. If you do not include the business name, they may think they have mistakenly called you at your personal number. You will also want to make sure to give callers the option to speak to someone who is currently available, an operator or other representative, by pressing a certain key (check with IT personnel to see what this might be).
It works similar to the old answering machine, with the only difference is that the old answering machine will store the voice message in the machine itself, while your phone’s voicemail system will store the voicemail in your service provider server. You can also forward the voicemail message to someone else’s mailbox.
