Hi, you have reached the voicemail box of X. I am currently busy with a client of mine and hence will not be able to take your call right now. Kindly accept my apologies for the same. Please leave your phone number, name and purpose of your call so that I can get in touch when I am free. Thanks for understanding.

You may think your voicemail message is professional. But when you listen back it could sound rushed or shaky. Listen to it regularly to see if changes are needed.
Other features such as Call Forwarding, Find Me, and Enhanced Voicemail ensure customers can always reach you, even if you're working remote.
No, the voice mail on your phone can only be deleted through your Cox Business voice service or a cell phone. We recommend that you delete all audio files after listening to them since these files are large and will decrease your email storage capacity. (Note: Voice Mail older than 31 days will automatically be deleted from the mailbox.) The voice mail message can be transcribed up to 90 seconds. You can call your voice mail number or play the .wav file to listen to the entire message. I checked the box to receive Text (or audio) but did not get the email. What happened?
Your business can further customize voicemail with eVOICE and several other features (which may vary by location).

One of the things to remember before recording your business voicemail greetings is to identify your pain points. This will help you to state more clearly for your clients in leaving enough context when leaving a voicemail.
Remember that Brittney Spears song where you hear her voicemail greeting at the end and she does that fake-out “beeeeep” and says “do yo thang?”
“Hi, you’ve reached [your name] at [your company]. I’m unavailable right now — probably helping [type of company] get [X results, e.g. ‘double their leads in 60 days,’ ‘hire the best and brightest engineers,’ ‘convert 40% more customers.’] Leave your name and number, and we’ll discuss how your company can see similar results.” “Hello, this is [your name] at [company]. Thanks for calling. Please leave your name, number, and reason you’d like to chat, and I’ll get to back to you ASAP.” “Hi, you’ve reached [name] at [company]. If you need a quick response, please shoot me an email at [insert email address] and I’ll be in touch by EOD tomorrow. If it’s not urgent, leave me a message with your name and number. Have a great day.” “Hey, this is [your name]. If you’re calling for [X reason], please [contact so-and-so] or [go to our website, send me an email]. For all other inquiries, leave your name and a brief message and I’ll call you back within [one, two, three] business day[s].” “Hello, you’ve reached [name] at company. I’m unable to come to the phone right now. Leave your name and number, and I’ll return your call as soon as I’m free. Thank you.”
Displays the name and telephone number of the incoming caller, provided they are not blocking that information.

Thank you for the tips! I will definitely use these when I record my voicemail greetings and messages when my customers are on hold using MightyCall. It’s very important to have effective greetings in order to maintain customers before the human to human interaction.
Expand your message with 'We're sorry we couldn't take your call this time.' The inclusion of 'this time' or 'on this occasion' suggests that the voicemail is the exception rather than the rule.
