6. Vacation Voicemail Greetings. Hey, this is [your name] at [X company]. I am actually on a break at the moment, on the other side of the world! Please direct all phone calls to [alternate contact name] at [phone number] and emails to [X email address].
There are several ways to give your voice mail a professional-sounding and “crisp” image. Of course, the content of what your voice mail greeting says is very important, too. Setup voice again on my phone as if I never had it before. Still asking for password every time I attempt to listen to my messages. AT&T tech is about to totally wipe away my voicemail completely - "re-provision" is the word he used.
