The only problem I have with the voices is that the French and Spanish ones are really hard to understand. It’s almost like the voices are speaking English words based solely on French and Spanish phonetic rules, instead of sounding like English in a French or Spanish accent. Either way, it was a jolly good time, and I recommend that you at least play with the app, if not actually use it on a regular basis.

3. “You’ve reached [company name]. We can’t take your call right now, let us call you back! Please leave us your name, number, the reason for your call and the best time to call you back – we don’t want to miss you again. Talk to you soon.” Let your callers know that you don’t want to miss the chance to speak with them by asking for a convenient time to call them back.
Let’s say you’re a restaurant owner and you want to greet all your suppliers by name when they reach your voicemail. Your suppliers are saved in your phone’s Contact list, so you could write a greeting like: Hi {FirstName} from {Company}, I’m out of the office this week, but please leave me a detailed message and I will return your call as soon as I am back next week.
I’m out walking my donkey but as soon as I get my ass back in I’ll call you back. Leave me a message.
Yes, though if there's no preexisting greeting the GUI won't detect it if placed in the filesystem. I suspect a database entry is needed for the GUI to "see" the greeting. As a workaround a greeting could be recorded (so that the database entry is present) and the file replaced, but that's getting to be quite a task end-to-end. Also I don't know if the database stores the length of the recordings, which could be problematic during playback if the original and replacement audio files are different lengths. I will do some testing. Thanks. Aug 16, 2018 #4

You are using an out of date browser. It may not display this or other websites correctly. Dec 9, 2017 53 5 8 Aug 16, 2018 #1 Does anyone know how to upload a pre-recorded voicemail greeting? And/or set a "recording" (from Apps > Recording) as a greeting? I'm familiar with uploading recordings and using within an IVR, but there doesn't seem to be a way to link them to voicemail greetings. I'm going to experiment with replacing greeting_#.wav under /var/lib/freeswitch/storage/voicemail/default/DOMAIN/EXTENSION/greeting_#.wav , but was hoping for an GUI-based solution. Aug 16, 2018 #2
