When you receive a voicemail, a notification will alert you on Skype for Business apps, desktop phone, and email app. If the caller hangs-up before leaving a message, you will receive a Missed-Call Notification email with the caller information (if it was not blocked). Depending on the users settings for Call Answering Rules Callers can hear a greeting, record a message (up to 5 minutes), and/or choose to be transferred to the target defined by the user. All calls were going directly to voicemail and the greeting was some funky messagemaybe it was the default although custom was checkmarked. I also tried resetting, turning off WiFi, checking Do Not Disturb. HOWEVERClearing all my old voicemail messages WORKED! Thanks so much for sharing! This saved me a trip to the AT&T Store.

Record your greeting. Under Voice mail, select Greetings. Select the type of greeting you want to record. Select Call me to play or record the selected greeting. Enter your phone number and select Dial. Follow the instructions in the recorded message to record your greeting. When finished recording, click Save.
