If you’re a small business owner, we recommend going with the RIY (record it yourself) route. First, it’s more affordable. Second (and more importantly), if your clients expect to work with you directly, they will expect to hear your voice when they place a phone call.
When customers are trying to reach a specific person who is unavailable, personal business voicemail greetings can be used to make that personal connection or forward their calls to employees’ remote phones and numbers.

Great question! Although I don’t know if there is a specific function for this on your particular phone, the best way to save the message is the simplest. Turn up the sound as high as you can and record it onto a digital recorder (like you would use for a lecture), a cassette recorder or your cell phone if you have a voice recorder on it. Then save it as an MP3 on to your computer for safe keeping. You can also Google your vtech model number to see if you can find an owner’s manual. They might have a way to save a recording in there. Probably not, but it’s worth a shot.
-(Very long pause) Wait! Please don’t hang up! I want to hear what you have to say.

The unavailable message is the standard greeting callers hear when they reach your voicemail box. It is the greeting that you can use consistently throughout the work year.
If you started your company more than a year ago, it’s probably time to change your voicemail script. Your recording should match the brand, tone, and voice of your company — just as though a caller were speaking to a member of your team.
Change your voicemail password: Go to Settings > Phone > Change Voicemail Password, then enter the new password.
However, you have to decide which type of voicemail greeting you want, so when someone calls you it creates a good impact on others. Let’s get started with how to change greeting on iPhone. (Voicemail Welcome message)
“Leave a message! Dit dit dit dit dit, dut dut. Dit dit dit dit dit, dut dut… After the beep.”
So far you probably had a generic voicemail greeting on your iPhone and want to change it to a personal voicemail greeting and with most carriers you don’t even need an additional voicemail recording app and can record a custom voicemail greeting directly on iPhone.

We know your time is precious, so to skip the back and forth, kindly leave a few different times of day that work best with your schedule and we will do our best to reach you then! Have a great day.” This greeting lets your caller know that not only your time is precious, but you realize theirs is as well.
