When you have new voicemail, the Phone tab in the Skype for Business main window displays the number of your messages. Make sure that you set up your voicemail. To check, dial your own phone number from your iPhone and leave yourself a message. Call your iPhone from another phone and try to leave yourself a voicemail. Go to the keypad and press and hold on the 1, or press the Call Voicemail button. This dials voicemail. Check if you have any missed messages.

On-hold messages can include whatever you want and will often just loop from end to beginning as the customer or client is on hold. Think of it as a way you can advertise to your own customers as they wait.
Follow the instructions and press that number. You will be asked to delete your current Voicemail greeting. Click on the ‘Yes’ button that appears on the screen if you want to remove that. You can save your new recorded Voicemail greeting or can use the default recorded option.
