3. Hi. I’m probably home, I’m just avoiding someone I don’t like. Leave me a message, and if I don’t call back, it’s you.
Hello… my name is (your name)’s refrigerator. He/she isn’t home right now to take your call. To leave him/her a message, speak very slowly so I can stick the message with the help of these refrigerator magnets.

Hi! John’s answering machine is broken. This is his refrigerator. Please speak very slowly, and I’ll stick your message to myself with one of these magnets.
1. Business voicemail greeting samples. If you have a main business phone number that’s shared with the customers or publicly listed, you’ll want to make sure it has a professional voicemail message to greet callers.

Mention the details up front to notify callers of the situation immediately. If possible, specify which dates your office will be closed or when you will be back in business.

And/or set a "recording" (from Apps > Recording) as a greeting? I'm familiar with uploading recordings and using within an IVR, but there doesn't seem to be a way to link them to voicemail greetings. I'm going to experiment with replacing greeting_#.wav under /var/lib/freeswitch/storage/voicemail/default/DOMAIN/EXTENSION/greeting_#.wav , but was hoping for an GUI-based solution. Aug 16, 2018 #2

It is absolutely STAGGERING - although not at all surprising - that Microsoft continues to use its quasi-omnipotence to totally disregard the needs of its customers.
Microsoft continues to ride roughshod over people who have been users - at not inconsiderable expense - for YEARS. Skype itself is NOT free to use (even leaving aside my paid phone number) because it wastes hours and causes anxiety and frustration, each of which has a cost. Skype was never perfect but it had some degree of honesty before it was swallowed up by Microsoft.
