There is no option under this to change voicemail greeting. When I go to My account settings there is only the option to forward calls or to go to voicemail but no option there to change the greeting (as the on-line versions show). Voicemail greeting is a short message that is played before a caller records a message. Via the greeting, you can inform the callers your information, like when you will be available, other methods to contact you, or other options that the caller can use to receive assistance.

Microsoft continues to ride roughshod over people who have been users - at not inconsiderable expense - for YEARS. Skype itself is NOT free to use (even leaving aside my paid phone number) because it wastes hours and causes anxiety and frustration, each of which has a cost. Skype was never perfect but it had some degree of honesty before it was swallowed up by Microsoft.
