How many times have you gone through the following scenario: While working with a customer or engaged on an important call, you receive a new voicemail. You listen to the message, hoping to understand the caller’s name and issue correctly. And when the caller whizzes through the digits of their callback number faster than you can write, you have to go through the entire message again. Once this exercise has been completed, you call the person back, only to get their voicemail.
You’ll want to have your office hours in the voicemail so that cleaning customers know when they can connect with you. You don’t have to always be available during all of those times, it’s just the possibility you’ll actually pick up your phone or will be able to give them a call back during those hours. Adding in office hours makes your business sound much more professional. It’s the sign of a more established, well-run company to have business or office hours.

* If you can offer an incentive to visit your site, like an instant booking or quote form for example, it can go a long way to land you new business. If you have a great voicemail AND they visit your site it’s a guarantee they’ll remember your name even if they don’t book immediately.
In sales, immediate communication with your prospects and current customers is important.
