If you've really got six other numbers to list it's easier to just mention a website that people can go to, because I'm not going to be able to write them all down in one go anyway. Smile. When recording your greeting, smiling will put some enthusiasm in your voice. Your callers will pick up on it and feel more comfortable when leaving you a message.
“Hey there! This is [name] at [XYZ company]. Thank you for calling. I can’t take your call right now but if you leave your name, contact info and reason for calling, I’ll call you back right away. Take care and speak with you soon!”

Please leave us your name, number and the best time to reach you and we’ll give you a call when we are open.” Let’s face it, you’re not always open. There are three parts to a perfect on hold message: the script, the speaking tone and the written tone. And of course, there is also the music, which plays a big part in representing your business brand.
For example, an extension user has different greetings for Lunch Break status and Away status. Lunch Break: "I’m currently on a lunch and unable to take your call". Away: "I’m currently away from my desk".
