Professional business voicemail greetings are significantly different from ones you record for individual use and complete your professional business image. They’re more generic in nature and designed to provide information to the caller while ensuring they leave a message. Where possible, explain when you expect to return calls. We’re all familiar with this type of voicemail greeting. Simply put, a caller reaches you by dialing your number or extension directly. For an optimal personal voicemail greeting, be clear about who you are, the team you’re on, and when the caller can expect a callback. Unlike company and department voicemail greetings, you may not be able to configure a greeting for open and closed business hours. If that’s the case, use a general voicemail greeting that accommodates both scenarios.
“Thank you for calling (your name), voted your #1 realtor in (insert county name). I’m either away from my desk or helping another customer find their dream home. Please leave your name and number, and I’ll be sure to return your call as soon as possible.”

Keep in mind how many other Maid Services people may call as they shop around. Be the Maid Service whose name this person remembers.
Make sure you make this as clear as possible and consider repeating the website address so that they have time to note it down if needed.
When your small business is closed, ensure that your callers know that! If appropriate, you might want to reiterate your business hours to manage callback expectations.
