It’s important that you actually follow through to avoid upsetting your callers.

Important: When your admin set up Skype for Business, they determined who you can communicate with using Skype for Business. By default you can communicate with other Skype for Business users in your business. But, depending on your setup, you may not be able to use Skype for Business to communicate with people in another business, or other Skype users.
To clear any customers doubts or expectations, make sure to mention on your voicemail when you’ll be available. Don’t say that you will “try” to return their call. Instead, offer them a realistic timeframe in which they can expect their call to be returned, so they know what to expect - whether it will take you 24 hours or a week to get back to them. This will eliminate your customer’s worries about your timeliness and encourage them to wait for your reply instead of heading over to your competitors.
If you aren’t sure, have a friend listen to it and give you pointers. It’s always disorienting listening to your own voice, so you might not be able to catch if you sound weird because you’re hearing your voice or because you are actually speaking in a strange manner, but someone who knows you well will be able to clear it right up.
