You can also erase any of your existing recordings associated with your voicemail box. To delete your name recording, unavailable greeting, or temporary greeting: Dial *98 on your OnSIP-registered phone. Enter your voicemail box number. Enter the PIN/password for your voicemail box. Changing Voicemail Settings in 8x8 Admin Console Find the user profile for whom you want to edit voicemail settings. Click the pencil icon to the right of the user profile. Go to Voicemail settings. 8. Set up voicemail by phone. Call *98 from your business phone. The system may take 5 to 7 seconds to begin voicemail setup. When prompted, enter a new PIN, and then press #.
If you've forgotten your retrieval number, call 800-244-1111 to get it. Alternately, the number was included in the welcome letter you received when you signed up for voicemail service.
When the phone line is busy or the line is not answered, the call will be redirected to the number you specify, voicemail or a do-not-disturb announcement.
