A busy greeting should tell callers that your phone lines are currently in use. You can direct people to wait on hold or leave a message. For example, “Hello, you’ve reached [company name]. Our representatives are currently helping other customers. Please stay on the line to speak with the next available team member, or press one to leave a message and we’ll call you back.”
Writing a script doesn’t mean you have to write a speech. A simple greeting is fine, like this sample voicemail message:
.
37. Hi, this is [company name]. Sorry we missed your call. Leave a message and we’ll get back to you shortly.

You can play a voice message at different speeds and pause/resume the message, using desktop client visual voicemail, or by dialing into their voicemail. Pressing a certain key on your phone controls how you can hear the voicemail: Read your voicemail transcription
You can also erase any of your existing recordings associated with your voicemail box. To delete your name recording, unavailable greeting, or temporary greeting: Dial *98 on your OnSIP-registered phone. Enter your voicemail box number. Enter the PIN/password for your voicemail box. Press 0 for voicemail box options. Press 1 for unavailable greeting, 2 for your name, or 3 for temporary greeting. Press 2 to delete the existing recording on file.
Open your voicemail greeting with a 'Thank you for your call. We're not available right now by please leave your message and we'll get back to you within [specify time]'.
When you have finished recording your professional voicemail greeting, you may want to have a close friend call your phone number so you can listen to the outgoing message together. That way, you can get her opinion of the voice message before other callers are able to listen to it. If your friend recommends some changes for you, these should be easy to make, because most systems will allow you to delete your outgoing message and re-record it as many times as you would like. Voicemail is necessary when no one can answer the phone. However, a dedicated receptionist can reduce the need for this feature and help people reach a live person. Consider live chat as well if your customers like to reach out online.
