Use Skype for Business for Windows. With Microsoft Skype for Business, you do not need to enter a PIN or extension number. To access your voice mail: In the main Skype for Business window, just above the search bar, click the Phone icon (). You'll see your voice mail below the dial pad. Mouse over a voice mail message, and click the play button

6. Add subaccount users / members. Place a checkmark next to each subaccount user who will require a unique voicemail box. For each selected user, assign a PIN to retrieve private voice messages.
Chances are that when someone takes the time to leave your business a voicemail, it is because it’s important that their message be communicated and left in the right hands. There’s nothing worse than calling a business only to hear that the voice mailbox is full or that the greeting is too quiet, too fast, or too confusing.
Really think about it – You’re out of the office, it’s after business hours, or you’re otherwise indisposed, whatever the case may be, your voicemail is now tasked with representing you (and/or your company). No pressure, right? Your voicemail message is a platform that represents you to callers; therefore it’s ABSOLUTELY crucial that your message is perfect.
20. “Hello! Thanks for reaching out to [company]. We’re closed today for the holiday, and will reopen tomorrow, [date]. If you leave your name, number, and a brief message, we’ll give you a call when we’re back in the office. Thanks again, and have a great [day, week].”
With Skype for Business open, click on the number pad icon: 2. After clicking on the number pad icon, below the numbers voicemail options will be displayed in the lower-right hand side as shown on the screenshot indicated with an arrow pointing at the icon: 3. 14. “Thanks for giving us a call! We promise it’s never a bad time for [company name], but you’ve reached us after-hours. Please leave us your name, number and the best time to reach you and we’ll give you a call when we are open.” Let’s face it, you’re not always open. Yet that doesn’t mean you don’t want to help your caller. Let them know you’ll call them right back when you’re open again.
New voicemail & password setup. Make sure to set up your voicemail within 60 days of activation or it’ll be automatically removed from your account. From your wireless phone, press and hold 1 or the Voicemail key. Select your language preference. Create a 7 to 15-digit password. Select your preferred greeting.
When was the last time you checked your voicemail for missed messages and paid attention to your greeting? If you’ve activated your Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone’s voicemail transcription feature for convenience, chances are it’s been ages since you last listened to your voicemail greeting. So it's probably time that you took the time to update it for your callers.
5. You have reached [your business]. We are currently closed. Our normal hours of operations are from [hours] [days]. We are closed on [days]. Please leave us a message with your name and number and we will return your call when the office reopens. You may hang up after leaving your message or press the [key] for additional options. Thank you for calling.

Before you officially pick a greeting, why not practice on making your voice even and understandable? I know that my voice rises when I speak on the phone, and I tend to speak faster, so I practice in the mirror to slow down my voice and make sure that I am speaking as naturally as I can.
A lot of small businesses set up a 13, 1300 or 1800 number to appear more professional, but that’s only the first step. Using a business phone service gives you a range of advantages over your standard landline, including the ability to: Set your business hours and record different voice greetings to align with a particular time of day or year. Set up an automated response, add department extensions to route the calls, and more. Have multiple users on the phone number via call overflow regardless of their location.
