In Australian English it’s pronounced with the vowel /a:/ like in ‘part’. Problems arise when people use the /ʌ/ vowel (like in ‘up’) instead of /æ/ or /a:/. If you do this is will sound like the worst swear word in English. Many non-native speakers often pronounce the vowel /æ/ more like /ʌ/ because they don’t have a vowel like /æ/ in their first language. Many speakers of European languages will do this (Spanish speakers and Italian speakers) and also speakers of Japanese and Korean. This problem with /æ/ also means that if you say the word ‘back’ in your voicemail greeting sample, you are likely to pronounce it more like ‘buck’. remember to pronounce word endings in English. Check you aren’t dropping any endings off or mispronouncing them.

At one time voicemail was a disruptive and innovative new technology. Who can forget their first answering machine in the '80s? We used to have some fun with those recording greetings!
This is also where your automated call software such as Drop Cowboy and others comes in handy. If you don’t have one already, it’s worth investing in moving forward. With your call software, there’s an effective flow of outbound and inbound calls. This means you have a record, too, of all the return calls you’ve gotten in the order of priority they’re made. This doesn’t just create a smoother system for your calls, but it also ensures no return call is ever left ignored.

If you are one of the multiple out-of-area code numbers that constantly insist upon calling me, even though you should know by now im never going to answer, press the end button. This is the voicemail box of The Goddess.

I have a friend with two cell phones - one for work, and one for personal calls - and if you call both lines, you would never know it's the same person.
VoIP systems are the most popular choice for business phone systems, with 80% of business PBX systems (which are basically controls for office connections and phones) being VoIP systems. VoIP systems are extremely reliable with great call quality, and they’re usually the cheapest option for a small business phone system.
