Since I pride myself in being responsible, if I don’t receive a return call I have to assume I wrote down wrong number. If I were irresponsible I would just blow it off and not care. But if I wrote down the wrong number I have a responsibility to get a hold of this person. This extra work combined with wondering if it’s the right number, leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
Your personal greeting lets callers know that they have reached the correct mailbox and hear a brief message from you. To record your personal greeting: Connect to your mailbox. The system responds with the status of any messages in your mailbox and prompts you with the Main Menu selections. Press 4, Setup Options. Press 1, Change Your Greeting. Press 1 to re-record your greeting. Record your greeting at the tone. Press # after recording your personal greeting. The system plays back your recording for your review. Record your alternate (extended absence) greeting
