Generally, people that call and leave messages are more likely to be ideal customers of your business. Your voicemail message is often not much more than a formality to the person calling.

Don’t include the date unless it’s completely necessary. 16 of the messages I heard last month had the wrong date—one of the messages had a date over 2 months old!
There is no need for a voicemail message to convey this, unless the therapist conveyed false expectations in the first place. I used to tune out those “call 911” messages.
