The transcribed text is expected to be approximately 85% accurate, which means eight (8) words out of every ten (10) should be translated correctly. Since the voice mail transcription is done by an automated program, accuracy depends on several factors, including the caller’s accent and noise levels during the message recording. Names and nouns may not translate accurately. To ensure the receipt of a message, a copy of the .wav file “audio” is sent along with the text transcription. English and Spanish. You can enable or disable a greeting using the radio buttons at the top of the pane. The standard greeting cannot be disabled, however, the alternate greeting can be enabled in its place. Choose your own recording or use the system default.

The way all your words and sentences come together gives your script a distinct written tone. Combine that with a specific speaking tone to create an on-hold message that reinforces your brand and product set. Selecting the correct tones will ensure your intended message is communicated effectively. If your target market is the younger generation, then a tone which embodies fun and excitement would be most suitable.
